Kinbaku is something that reveals what we already have inside us. It doesn't add or remove anything. Particularly, semenawa is a way of doing rope that is about endurance, about going deep in our heart and putting both tops and bottoms in front of dark feelings. Embracing them is the moment in which kinbaku begins. It something which puts us in front of our shadows.
Shadow is a workshop with a central topic: torment.
We will understand what this word means, why it's not necessarily just a torture and what's the impact of torment in a rope session.
We will talk deeply about how much the process is more important than a final shape when we tie, we will investigate different possible approach according to the mood we have in the moment we tie.
We will also study how actually semenawa - tormenting rope - can create beauty.
Following topics will be touched:
- Torment vs. Torture
- Suffering vs. Pain
- Physical stress and Boiling point
- exposure, shame, oppression, objectification
- Surrendering and vulnerability
Who this workshop is for:
This workshop is thought for couples.
This class may be attended by all the people who are already into semenawa, particularly those who are proficient in our module Class #1.
Tops must be able to tie a solid gote in Kinbaku LuXuria style, they must be confident with suspension and with all the possible way to stress the gote. They must be able to tie with no effort all the basics of the style (suspension lines, futomomo, leg harnesses, third ropes) that have been studied in Class #1.
Tops who have studied an equivalent module with Wildties or with Soptik will be equally admitted to this class.
Bottoms must be confident with Kinbaku LuXuria style semenawa. They have to be confident with suspension.
The organiser and the teachers will anyway have the last word on the admission of a couple to this workshop.
What do I need to know for this class:
Workshop will be offered at [insert here venue details, if needed].
We recommend the students to have a rope set with at least 12 ropes.
We recommend to attend this class with jute ropes, 5 or 6mm diameter and 7-8 meters long.
We invite the participants to be dressed in the way they feel comfortable with while tying. However, as many exercises will also focus on the aesthetics we invite bottoms to be dress up with something they would feel at ease during a session.
Nudity is permitted only during the exercises [we leave this to the organisers: to us it's the venue owner who decide if making this stricter or lighter]
Educators and Style.
The workshop will be taught by Kurogami and Shiawase. Couple in life since 2014, they started their journey in Kinbaku after meeting Wildties and Redsabbath in 2016, starting studying Kinbaku LuXuria Style.
Wildties' style directly descends from Naka Ryu, the style of Akira Naka whom Wildties is the ichiban deshii.
Our style is a traditional style, that preserves the tradition and the principles of the previous masters in the lineage, adding though our own personalities, our own mood and our own tastes and flavours.
In February 2018 Kurogami became a certified instructor of Kinbaku LuXuria style, definitely matching the educational values of Wildties and Redsabbath.
Since then, Kurogami and Shiawase teach and performs in Italy all around Europe.
In 2019, they had the honour of tying at the 25th Nawa Naka Kai, hosted in Tokyo by Naka Akira, opening the session for Wildties and Naka San himself.
